Last year's rain (2010) brought the Budgerigars out in largish numbers.
This year, due to the consistent rain, the numbers have increased even more so.
It is difficult not to walk around Alice Springs, or drive around the areas near the town,
and not hear and see large groups of these birds at the moment.
