An enjoyable drive out to Papunya. Started the day early and found some Spinifexbird with a friend, then on to a variety of birds along the way. Hope you enjoy the photos.

Enjoying the birdlife at the local Poo Ponds - Variegated Fairy-wren, Fairy Martin, Kites and Wedgies - photos

Managed to find time to return to the local birding wonderland that is the Alice Springs Water Treatment Plant. A few nice surprises through the lens of the camera, hope you enjoy.

Nankeen Kestrel, White-breasted Woodswallow, Tree Martin and others

Popped down to the Poo Ponds for a quick visit to see if I could find the Freckled Ducks seen recently. They were there, but stayed a long way from the camera. Other species were quite happy to stay close even though I was there.

We've landed in Victoria and it takes a little while to get used to the new sounds and sights. Here is a small selection of the locals in the eastern suburbs:
