Spotless Crake, Orange Chat, Fairy Martin and Willie Wagtail

Spent an hour or so walking through the Crown Land to the south of the Alice Springs Water Treatment Plant yesterday and was lucky enough to catrch some brief glimpses of a Spotless Crake. Unfortunately there was a fence between me and the place this bird was walking around (or hiding would be a better adjective) and although the photos aren't the best the species is identifiable from the shots below:

Nearby was an Orange Chat:




and some Fairy Martins were flying around busily, this young one sat on the fence for a rest:

as I was heading back to the car, this delightful Willie Wagtail danced around my feet:
