just for a change, some Victorian bird photos

A really quick trip to Victoria over the weekend, but still managed to find a small amount of time for some photos. Sherbrooke Forest and Scotchman's Creek in Mt Waverley:

Crimson Rosella

Chestnut Teal



Common Myna

Eastern Rosella (very prety but wouldn't turn around!)


Little Pied Cormorant


Pacific Black Duck

Red Wattlebird


White-faced Heron on nest

    Now I don't think I've ever seen a white-faced heron nest. Well spotted!
