Saw a couple of Brown Quails by the side of the road near Alpurrurulam late in the afternoon. One ran away but the other hung around long enough for a few photos.

ReplyDeleteThe quail shots are great too. It takes me back to an early photo long time ago of an unidentified quail like bird taken with a short lens just before this birding crusade began! Do you remember it?
I reckon it may have been a brown quail!
