Birds of Prey, Fairy Wren and a Dove

Birds of Prey still dominate the skies near Alice Springs. Below are a few: Whistling Kite feeding on the wing, a Nankeen Kestrel and a Black-shouldered Kite:



And this female Fairy-wren, I think it was a White-winged fairy-wren, came up close for a look at this stranger in its area:

And finally, this spotted turtle dove decided our chook pen was a great place to get a feed. We seem to be a haven for these birds, and I decided to take a close up:
